About dxf4free

dxf4free is a free catalog of DXF and vector files for CNC routers, laser cutters, and plasma tables. Every file is released into the public domain (CC0) so you can download it and cut it — for hobby projects or commercial work — without sign-ups, paywalls, or attribution requirements.

Why it exists

Good cut-ready vector files are surprisingly hard to find: most sites bury them behind accounts, credits, or “free” downloads that aren't really free. dxf4free is an independent project built to be the opposite — a clean, fast, searchable library where the download is one click and the license is never a surprise.

How the files are prepared

• Cut-ready linework. Designs are kept as clean vector paths suited to CNC, laser, and plasma toolpaths — closed shapes where they should be, minimal stray nodes.
• Multiple formats. Where possible a design is offered in several formats (DXF, SVG, PDF, and others) so it drops into whatever software your machine uses.
• Organized & searchable. Everything is sorted into categories and tagged, with full-text search, so you can find a motif quickly.

Licensing

Unless a design's page states otherwise, files are CC0 / public domain: free for personal and commercial use, no attribution needed. See the Terms & License for the full details, and the Privacy & Cookie Policy for how the site handles data.

A note on quality

Files are provided as-is. We do our best to keep the linework clean, but machines, bits, and materials vary — always preview a file and run a test cut before committing expensive stock. Found a problem with a file, or have a design you'd like to see? We'd love to hear from you.
